Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup softened butter.
- 1 cup packed brown sugar.
- 1/2 cup white sugar.
- 2 eggs.
- 2 tsp vanilla extract.
- 3 cups all-purpose flour.
- 1/2 tsp baking soda.
- 1 tsp cinnamon.
- 1 tsp salt.
- 1 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats.
- 1 cup chopped walnuts.
Directions
- Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Stir into the creamed mixture until just blended.
- Mix in the quick oats, walnuts, and chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before baking. Not required, but highly recommended.
- Place as balls onto a baking pan and bake for 10-12 minutes at 325°F or until the edges are nicely browned.
